Connection and Communication is Key

In today's fast-paced and technology-dependent urban lifestyle, connection and communication are very important. It has played a vital part from our history up to the modern times. It can unite one country through a single language, and the world with a single ideal. Communication enables us to express our ideas and to understand each other.

In business, we need to be in constant connection. Each minute wasted is an opportunity foregone. Each hour skipped can never be brought back. In familial relationships, communication binds the kinship together, making it stronger and lasting.

Aside from the traditional long time landline telephone, we have been exposed to the booming industry of mobile phones. And as cellphone users get saturated, it's the turn of internet-based communication systems.

PM or IM, which stands for 'private messaging' and 'instant messaging', similarly allows individuals connected through the internet the ability to send text-based messages to anyone in an instant across the globe. Voice-travel is now also made possible through the use of Voice-Over IP protocol, much to the horror of traditional phone companies around the world threatened to be obsolete in the near future. Products such as Yahoo Messenger and Skype have become household names in developed countries. Other small businesses have also cropped up leveraging on the said technology. After text and voice, bandwidth hungry data can now also be transmitted including videos.

In light of this future trend, Sun Cellular, a Philippine-based telecommunications technology and subsidiary of the JG Summit Group have re-launched their Sun Broadband Wireless service in a more affordable package. An UNLIMITED & PORTABLE broadband service for only as low as 799/month.

  1. I purchased an Easy Broadband last October 3, 2010 and my account has activated just recently. At first, I'm really frustrated because my account is not yet activated and 24 hours is already over but after few minutes it worked. I was really surprised with its stability. Although I was not able to receive the 2mbps speed, I’m really satisfied because I did not encounter disconnection problems and my connection is really stable. I lived in Santolan, Pasig City and so far, no problems. The performance is just like Smart Broadband but the price is very affordable which makes a lot of difference between the two.
