  3. Sun still is better wireless broadband than Globe and Smart. tried and tested. Globe is worse.

  5. At first I thought it was awesome but lately it's just slowed down so much. And to think I went from prepaid to postpaid. It sucks, I used to get to download decent torrents now it's just something I can't do with sun

  6. think twice before you dive in a postpaid plan, with a 2-year lock-in period.

there should be a law against lock-ins. i was also happy with sun for a while but so many months now (and i'm just going on my 2nd year) i notice that internet is only fast on the off-hours between 2am to 7am.

true, most of the time the download speeds average 25-50 kbps, but i have experienced truly pathetic slow speeds, much slower than dial-up - like say 2bytes per second!

sun keeps on promoting their broadband, but the question is: are they widening the "road" where our bandwidth, like virtual cars, travel on?

  7. I want to avail of it because of its unlimited internet promo but I'm not sure if it would work in my home. I'm from Floodway area in Taytay, Rizal.

  9. It depends on the location, I have 3 internet broadband with me namely globe, smart and sun. The best in me is sun. It has better speed compared to the 2 internet broad bands. However there are times it would slow up sun broadband speed especially during peak hours. I'm toying to buy wi tribe but I was just informed that this broad band has 2 years lock in period which I disagreed. I suggest, if you have friends who has the 3 broadbands borrow them and compare the speed before you buy that particular broadband.

  10. i demand that SUN Broadband needs to improve their facilities.

I'm using SUN for 2 years now, but until now I can't felt if there is any improvement about that broadband signal....

i stick to use because I haven't any options to look up too...

may SUN take it seriously to sustain the arising needs of broadband industry

  13. I think it depends on where you're living, and the number of subscribers sharing the existing network in your place. I live in Bacolod City, the signal is great here, and the speed is average. Not slow, but not too fast either. Using the internet during offpeak hours garners more than 100kbps download speed, but sometimes the connection gets interrupted and you have to download again. During the day, it is significantly slower, but tolerable. I'm on my first week as a user, so I guess I'll look forward to how their wireless service fares in the future. :/

To tell you honestly it is great that this kind of internet service provider (if i am not mistaken) is out in the market today. It really help us to make our communication a little bit easier http://www.ladygeekwannabe.com/
